EB #19-24
EB # 19-24 – To require all tracklayers for USCA Championships to have tracklayer books and classified through the USCA Tracklayer Program by December 2025 and all tracklayers for USCA Club trials to be classified by December 2026.
Motion by Mark Chaffin, DAL on behalf of the Tracking Committee, and seconded by Nathaniel Roque, DOJ, to require all tracklayers for USCA Championships to have tracklayer books and classified through the USCA Tracklayer Program by December 2025 and all tracklayers for USCA Club trials to be classified by December 2026.
Background
This requirement is already in effect for USCA Nationals and WDC. The USCA Regional Championships are also USCA Championship events and this motion will add the requirements to regional championships effective 12/2025. This 1 year gives plenty of time to easily implement the program for Regional Championships, and 2 years for club events.
In the event that there are no classified tracklayers available for an event, a waiver will be issued by the Regional Director with approval of both the RD and DOJ. At this time the intent of this requirement will not stop an authorized event to proceed. This is to allow easy implementation of these new requirements.
It is always the intention of USCA to support our events and membership with the highest quality events. This requirement will serve to improve all of our trial’s tracking phase.
