Motion by Don Yelle, New England RD and seconded by Gary McGillivary, DAL, to approve an increase of maximum reimbursement amount from $750 to $2,000 per pre-selected helper for national events. Requests for reimbursement must be submitted within 60 days of the end of the national event and receipts supporting the requested amount will be submitted with the request.
Background: Pre-Selected helpers are required to be at the events for four full days. The cost to travel to attend national events have increased over the years however the amount pre-selected helpers are reimbursed has not increased. USCA asks a lot of our helpers and we should financially support our helpers to attend our national events.
Helpers will be required to submit receipts for all requested reimbursement amounts within 60 days of the end of the national event they attended as a pre-selected helper.
