EB Ballot #22-19 – Replace the Protection Judge for the 2019 USCA National Championship

Motion by Nathaniel Roque, DOJ, on behalf of the USCA Judges Committee and seconded by Michele Clubb, Secretary, to replace the Protection Judge, USCA Judge Frank Phillips, who was approved by the USCA EB for the 2019 National Championship due to his unavailability with SV Judge Egon Gutknecht.

Background: The USCA Judges Committee submitted a motion to the USCA EB to approve USCA Judge Frank Phillips for Protection at the 2019 USCA German Shepherd Dog National Championship that was approved. USCA Judge Phillips had originally accepted the invitation but now unfortunately has to decline the invitation.

The USCA Judges Committee has selected in his place SV Judge Egon Gutknecht. He is the 2019 WUSV World Championship Protection judge as well as the new WUSV Chief Judge for Trials and Training worldwide. He has been a SV Judge since 2006 and training and trialing German Shepherd Dogs since 1985.
