EB Ballot #27-22 – Approve bid from Piedmont Schutzhund Club to co-host the 2023 USCA Sieger Show
Motion by Heidi Theis, by NBW and seconded by Nathaniel Roque, DOJ, to approve the bid from Piedmont Schutzhund Club to co-host the 2023 USCA Sieger Show.
Background: Two clubs submitted their bids to the Breed Advisory Committee (BAC) to co-host the 2023 USCA Sieger Show. The BAC voted to select the Piedmont Schutzhund Club to host the event. This motion is to support the BAC decision to select Piedmont Schutzhund Club to host the 2023 USCA Sieger Show.
- Richard Shook’s club, Piedmont Schutzhund Club. They hosted in 2019 and it was the largest SS in years with 385 dogs. They did a fantastic job and I have full confidence in their ability to provide a quality, top-notch event. Same location as 2019, Troutman, NC. (File name Piedmont bid)
- Max and Tara Artemchik’s club, OG Milchland. This club has not hosted a National level event yet but they have hosted rather huge Regional Conformation Shows with me as the judge and events always run smoothly. I have full confidence in this club’s ability to pull off a nice, quality event. Same location as National Show last year, Kenosha, WI. (File name Sieger Show bid, and Sieger Show bid attachment)
