EB Motion #01-24 – Accept the BOI’s findings regarding charges filed against Vice President Michael Sweeney
Motion by Michele Elmore, Secretary, on behalf of the Board of Inquiry, and seconded by Nathaniel Roque, DOJ, to accept the BOI’s findings regarding charges filed against Vice President Michael Sweeney.
Background: On May 22, 2023, BOI charges were filed by USCA member Avi Cohen against USCA Vice President Michael Sweeney.
On September 3, 2023, BOI submitted its recommendation to the USCA Secretary. See their findings attached.
On September 28, 2023, Michael Sweeney submitted an appeal regarding the BOI’s recommendation. Per the Bylaws, Article XI, Section 4 subsections a and b, the appeal was submitted to the Directors at Large.
On December 22, 2023, the Directors at Large advised the USCA Secretary that they had denied Michael Sweeney’s appeal.
