Select a co-host club for 2020 Working Dog Championship

Motion by Michele Clubb, Secretary, on behalf of Events Planning Committee, and seconded by Don Yelle, New England RD, to select a co-host club for the 2020 Working Dog Championship.

Background:

The Events Planning Committee received three bids to co-host the 2020 WDC.

#1 – Turner Junction Working Dog Club (North Central Region) Located in  Wheaton, IL.  Dates for this event would be May 7-10, 2020.  Stadium location DuPage County Fairgrounds.  Tracking would be sod farms.  See attached bid form for further.  Bid Form

#2 – St Louis Schutzhund Association (Mid Central Region) Located in St Louis, MO.  Dates for the this event would be May 7-10, 2020.  There are two options for stadium location both being soccer fields (Liberty Fields Soccer Park or St Francois of Assisi Soccer fields.  Tracking would be sod farms. #3 – OG Buckeye Schutzhund (Mid East Region) Located in Seville, OH.  Dates could be either April 30 to May 3, 2020 or May 7-10, 2020.  Stadium location is a football field.  Tracking would be hay fields.  See attached bid for further. Bid Form

St Louis Schutzhund Association – MOTION NOT CARRIED

OG Buckeye Schutzhund – MOTION NOT CARRIED
